Direction of Traffic on Chartres Street in The Quarter.

After Nick Cage takes his daughter to a "coffee shop," which in reality is the full service restaurant Cafe Pontalba - as seen in the movie - Runaway Jury, but that's another topic - she hails a cab that is going south on St. Peter. After she gets into the cab it turns right on Chartres Street and heads away from Jackson Square towards NOLA's Central Business district - as can be viewed by the tall buildings up ahead. WRONG..... St. Peter heads NORTH away from Jackson Square and Chartres heads East from downtown toward the St. Louis Cathedral that fronts jackson Square. I have literally been to NOLA at least a 100 times and this street direction error stood out to me like a flashing neon sign. There wasn't any reason they couldn't have had the cab go north on St. Peter. Strange.
