Has anyone watched the first shadow island movie, The Last Christmas? I came across it tonight and thought it was just a coincedence that the stories seemed very similar until I realized the characters were the same and that it focuses on Claire's family. I wonder why it's not listed here but it was made back in 2009. Nice to see the dad from road to avonlea again. Anyone else see this?

I just caught "Wedding for One" on Showtime. I wish they would have played both mysteries back to back!
Very enjoyable if you like a light hearted mystery. I hope they will air The Last Christmas, too.

A six-part made-for-television movie series, the Shadow Island Mysteries follows the story of lead character Claire La Foret (Jennifer Finnigan), a beautiful young woman who works as the Property Manager of the Shadow Island Resort situated on an island in the pristine Canadian wilderness. While she excels at her job, Claire really wants to be a mystery writer. And mystery does find her. The first movie, ‘Wedding for One’, follows Claire as she hosts her best friend’s wedding, but the groom-to-be goes missing. Claire finds him by puzzling out a series of clues sent to her by the kidnapper, while dealing with wedding guests, an ex-boyfriend, and a distressed bride-to-be.
P.S. Showtime seems to keep airing The Last Christmas, now. I wish they would air Wedding for One with it, back to back !
