This movie deserves higher rating. spoiler warning

This proves again how inefficient is imdb rating to some certain foreign movies, especially Asian culture movie.


Tis movie is not cliche at all, but only represent the universal motherly love in Asian culture.

Maybe most in other parts of the world can't relate with the relationship of the mother and daughter, but I find this movie spoke to me as how I see it's very similar to the relationship of my sister and my mother, which I hardly find in other mother movies related.

The premise of the story of mother's love is also heighten with the SPOILER WARNING of death of the daughter.

The finale monologue also justifies the premise strongly.

Highly recommend to people who is interested in learning of Asian culture-family relationship.

I.m glad there is a movie that represents some of the most dysfunctional yet loving story of mother and their children.
