So vegans drink milk?

sorry if this is a silly question, I always thought vegans didn't ingest anything from an animal. I understand that vegetarians do drink milk but do not eat meat, but I thought vegans didn't do either.

Yet this film demonstrates vegans milking a goat, so I'm confused, do they drink milk?

Vegans do not drink milk. But maybe they sold goats milk/goats milk products? I dunno.

reply

What difference would that make?

reply

Goats are not animals, duh!

Vegans do not eat or drink any products that come form an animal. I haven't seen the movie yet but if they are showing a vegan drinking animal milk (as opposed to soy, almond, etc) it isn't accurate.

Sorry, but the people you described are not vegans, by definition.

95% of vegans are vegan because of environmental and moral reasons, namely, factory farming. Vegans don't eat any animal product, however, if you ask a vegan if they would eat animal products (besides meat) if they were on a farm and milked and made their own cheese, butter, cream, etc, they'd say yes.

I thought vegan don't eat or drink anything which causes harm to life. So drinking milk should be fine, at least that's what heard.

So could a vegan eat a road kill?
