I can relate to Adalines story

1) when the old friend says “you haven’t changed a bit, how is that possible?” - I had an acquaintance say to me at a karaoke bar “you’ve been coming here for 10 years, but haven’t aged, how is that possible?” I laughed, he responded “serious question.”

Another old friend met me and said her first thought was that I’m a vampire.

2) when the police officer wonders if her ID is correct - I had a police officer read my date of birth and say “about to turn 25, wait, no, 35... is this right?”

3) her daughter looks at old photos and says that it’s her only photo, Adaline says it doesn’t matter because she doesn’t change. - My mother looked at a party photo from 10 years earlier and said “everyone looks so different except you. Did you make a deal with a demon not to age?”
