he wasn't a stalker at all!

so he wanted to meet someone he was attracted to and found a way, what's wrong with that? and after they'd met and even after they'd had sex she was giving him mixed signals! that's very confusing to a guy. imo, guys need to be more like him, be aggressive and not take no for an answer! keep pursuing and go to the girl's place of residence if you have to; despite what women SAY, they are attracted to the take-charge alpha male type - it's in their genes.

We are all stalkers. The "intent" of the stalking is what makes it either OK or not OK.

Sometimes I think we're alone in the universe, and sometimes not.

That's a good point. In this day and age, you can't do anything close to this without coming off like a freak. Yet the irony is we have so many more tools for stalking, that it is so much more common now. Googling, facebook, linkedin. The difference between that and 30 years ago is that you don't have to follow someone on the street to stalk them. As creepy as that sounds.

That's an unbelievably stupid thing to say.
No, women don't want to be stalked. NO, it's not in our genes. Or anything else.
No, it's NEVER OK to go after someone when they have asked you not to, when you have to investigate them and stalk them where they live and work.

To think otherwise is an extremely childish idea of "dating" and thiking you know women.
You do not.

Yes, he absolutely was a stalker. Read up on stalking. Normal men don't act like this.

I would have gotten a gun to protect myself if a man acted like this around me in the USA, and I would not have hesitated to shoot him dead. I don't give a sh*t about what he looks like. Chances are, if he's attractive, he's used to getting his way and thus is even more dangerous when you reject him.

OP you are a psycho. Do NOT show up to a woman's house if she rejects you. Adaline said out loud "you should have let me contact you first" and she's absolutely right. Typical man to demand a woman's attention as if he's entitled to it, not caring about her personal life and what she might be going through.

If anything he could have easily showed up at her work which would have been ten times less threatening seeing as how that's where they re-connected and it's a public place. To say it's "in our genes" to want someone we're clearly ignoring to track us down and show up at our front door is absolutely insane.

Wow. No don't do this. I thought his character was so creepy I was 100% waiting for the big reveal that he was actually the villain.

He was a stalker. That's not romantic. It's scary. I guess it's supposed to be sexy in the movies but in real life that behaviour is not acceptable.
