She was lovely.

She moved me from her first scene on set till the end of the film, she was absolutely astounding!

reply

I thought she was wonderful too, don't understand all the negative posts. People will find anything to complain about I guess.

reply

Don't worry about the negative posts, Michelle's performance was super nuanced & look at her singing, wonderful milestone in her sucessful career & definitely sets the bar for others following on her heels. This was more real portrayal than you'd have gotten from just about any other actress out there, perhaps she played it a little too soft, but its all there, the candle in the wind.

She was great, if the real Marilyn was anything like Michelle portrays her I would have been as much in love with her as the rest of the world, if I had been alive during that period I mean.

I have to agree - she was utterly captivating as Marilyn.

The real Marilyn wasn't the world's greatest actress or singer but she had that "special something" that just makes you fall in love with her when she is on screen. Michelle Williams managed to capture this and reproduce it on screen and quite honestly I forgot that I was watching someone pretending to be Marilyn.

Just superb

Her portrayal was outstanding, and she actually moved me to tears during one very key scene. I was fine one minute, then suddenly sobbing from ONE line she uttered and the way she did so. Williams was amazing.

Yes she was wonderful!
