My review with spoilers

I really wanted to like this, and constantly told myself things like,"Cheap flash animation is still impressive for how much work and time it takes",or"music even if bland and boring still takes time to make". I thought perhaps the writer was depressed and in his/her own journey to deal with depression found salvation in making this story. The problems is in the end this is a very very simplistic, shallow, naive, and patronizing story at best. Suicide is not a thing that should ever be put on a pedestal or idolized, but for some people that are terminal the right to ends one life should not be demonized either, but treated with the extreme finality it is. Knowing three friends over the years that had killed themselves, this movie was just disgusting and highly insulting. This movie just had the bitter aftertaste of someone's agenda based on their own dogma and delusions of grandeur, yeah suicide is not the answer, I get if. I personally don't believe in suicide, but I sure as hell wanted the movie to die of some causes very early in. (p.s. a kid that smiles all of the time no matter what is most likely crazy, a kid that believes smoking is safe and can chain smoke in seconds is stupid and inhuman...never once heard of a person first time inhaling entire lung full and instantly enjoying and being hooked ), using a boombox and shaking everything off of the shelves in a shop with poison gases, things the sting, and sharp things while the shop is full is just plain stupid , the family claims to not smile or be happy, but several times are depicted enjoying dark things like the girl's birthday shirt and such, the movie fails to maintain a true sense of darkness, instead tried to copy an Adam's Family trope, not realizing that the Adam's were actually extremely happy , is watching your sister dance naked OK? they made it only sexual and non-sexual...I tried to look at it like he was impressed with how beautiful his sister really was, but something made me think he looked a bit too long and hard at her...plus how did he know she was going to pull that dance right after getting the song unless he had seen her do it before? , and did they just talk smack about all the people that killed themselves at the very end in the last song??? .
