I finished this shitshow. Should I admit it? (spoilers)

This was pretty bad. I think the person at Netflix who approved this show should be fired. I'll be disappointed if they renew this show since it's abysmal. It's a combination of live action, animation and video games. Most of the characters are rip-offs of established DC/Marvel characters or even 80's tv shows. The Red Talon character looks like Rambo and the criminal org Anubis looks similar to Cobra from G.I. Joe. I don't know if Netflix could be sued for copyright infringement but the creator of the show didn't come up with any new ideas.

It was kind of cool to see Christopher Guest of Stargate SG1 playing the President in an uncredited role and RJ Mitte of Breaking Bad as a villain in another uncredited role. I suspect these actors were uncredited since they didn't want this stinker on their resume. It was odd how the show would suddenly shift from live action to video game and back to animation. The live action combat scenes would have health bars over enemies and FINISH HIM would appear on the screen in a manner similar to Mortal Kombat. A lot of the gratuitous violence was done in animation but the main hero committed suicide with a bullet to the head so that was shocking.

Two of the senior members of the squad were secretly gay and one of them turned out to be evil. The main hero was gay and he had an affair with one member of the squad and another villain. In one of the final scenes, one of the squad members chose to kill his fellow squad member and love interest instead of trying to stop the evil squad member. Overall, this is a big effing mess that could have been written by a fifteen-year-old. They could have used the money wasted on this show to fund decent shows. The episodes are twenty minutes so it's quick to watch all seven episodes.
