A shame we can't taste the patisseries

In every sense, this is a delight. Beautifully shot to capture mood (and some great cakes), it shows us how people deal with loss and, hopefully, move on to better things. This is not a by-the-numbers romantic comedy. It's a carefully constructed journey as people make decisions about their relationships and lives, reaching an entirely unsentimental conclusion that feels right in all the circumstances.
