Most Insane Sushi Typhoon Release Yet

I will not spoil a single second of this movie for you, but I can safely say this is the most insane film ever released by any of the directors working under the Sushi Typhoon label.

The first half of the Director's Cut makes it seem like it's going to be a somber revenge story. Then the second half comes and you spend every minute wondering how they managed to top the last scene in terms of insane visuals.

It felt like the Tokyo Gore Police crew saw the trailer for the Indian movie Enthiran, saw all the response that film got on the internet, and said, "Screw that, we can do it better with zombies."

And they were right!

This movie is so bad that you start to actually like it. It took 48min into the movie to roll the opening credits. It has to be one of the most needlessly gory, bizarre, nonsensical film I have ever seen; I mean the zombies have antlers. I don't know how somebody creates a film like this, or stars in this without regretting ever making it.

Are you kidding? This was soooooo good because it was incredibly insane flick. Much like OP I just kept wondering "HOW THE HECK THEY ARE GONNA TOP LAST SCENE?" in sense of logic and visuals.

People who expected some "serious" horror probably missed the point of this movie. It was funny and entertaining. Everything in this flick is way to over the top, which makes it that much entertaining. It's Japanese Grindhouse flick!

i agree with you alucard although it did have so stupid parts like the guys truck being able to fight a zombie thats been skewered 100 times were too much most of the movie was really over the top but not the really dumb the really intresting way in which it works

*spoiler alert*

that the main characters mother would still be alive after having a meteor crash into her making a huge whole in her chest and her being able to reach into the daughters chest and pull out her herat and then have her body connect it the part i don't get though is if the mother was still alive why would the daughter of killed her simply by ripping the heart back out did this family make some deal with the devil or something

was overall a really good movie for its type but why not connect her in the beginning having the truck and and being alone to the end where 3 of them survive

It seems to be a director's trademark to start every movie with the main character having a fight.

Machine Girl, Frankenstein Girl vs Vampire Girl, Robogeisha, Mutant Girls Squad, Samurai Princess even Meat Machine... all of them start with a random fight that doesn't seem to fit into continuity of the movie that just shows off how badass the main character is and launch the viewer directly into some splatter gore effects.

Gothic + Lolita Psycho at least had its first fight/opening connect with the main story, which is why it's my favorite out of all the recent Japanese splatter grindhouse movies. I love them all but that one seemed to be just a step above in terms of script and directing.

When that title screen popped up halfway through, I let out the biggest laugh of the whole movie.
