WHAT THE HELL................. ....
When I heard this movie was coming out, I was overjoyed.
I just couldn't wait for its release because Ong Bak 2 was so bloody awesome.
However, after viewing Ong Bak 3, I felt a bit let down.
The story was okay but the fight choreography was a step down from Ong Bak 2.
The only cool Tony Jaa 'weapon fights' in Ong Bak 3 were at the start and they were flashbacks from Ong Bak 2.
Tony Jaa wanted his character Tien to evolve and adopt a new form of martial art in Ong Bak 3, but unfortunately his new fighting style lacked the intensity and brlliant choreography that made Ong Bak 2 a delight to watch.
Oh well, adleast Ong Bak 3 had a good soundtrack and some of the fights weren't bad.
I didn't like how easily the big, black, tattooed guy and the rest of Tien's gang were killed off and the fighting took place in semi-darkness which made it a little hard to see what was going on. It was also over too quick...
I'll watch Ong Bak 3 again though because it was still good.....just not great.
