They raided a house with a SWAT team because someone found one gun in a box on a shelf? Why that big a deal over a gun sitting in a box? I know it is illegal to own guns in England, but is a raid on the home necessary to handle the situation?

Obviously the gun has been fired recently. But I agree it's a bit over the top.
