This film is superb, beautiful, powerful music, shots and acting. I realise it is a little absurd and tongue in cheek at times, but I laughed by head off until tears were rolling, I was wondering if anyone felt the same way and am curious to hear why people might find it funny...

I thought it was funny too; even more so in hindsight. A real gem.
sharei thought it was hilarious in places, mostly due to vincent cassel's characters antics. the scene with the couple in the hot tub had me crying with laughter.
"this is not nam dude, this is bowling, there are rules."
Yeah this was funny... if you like the kind... which I do very much...
