Has there been any word on Season 5? From the looks of it, none of the originals will be present. I think the Malcolm/Keisha SL is done. April moved to London. So the show will pretty much be about Latoya Luckett's character and Omar. I think the show shouldn't have came back, especially since Denise Vasi decided not to come back.

The quality from Vh1 to BET/Centric declined seriously.
LisaRaye did her best carrying the show, but it really hasn't been good since Stacey Dash left.
Wow. Bad move moving to Centric. The show was good with Stacy Dash. But even when Denise Vasi came I still loved it. I was excited when it came to Centric, but once I found out Denise wasn't coming back, that was it for me. I only wanted to tune in for her and Terrance.

shareI don't think Centric was the problem. I think the show was just done and they should have left it canceled. The characters that we knew and cared about were gone so there really wasn't a reason to watch anymore. I personally didn't watch season 4 because I didn't think it was necessary. After the cancellation, I accepted it and moved on. I knew it wouldn't be the same, just like The Game wasn't the same when it was brought back. BET and Centric get a bad rep for the fact that ratings decline when they start airing the shows but people fail to look at the bigger picture and the other things that have changed about the show.
shareIf everyone came back, I think the show would have been ok. It would have picked up where they left off with Terrance and Raquel. But since DV opted not to come back, that pretty much was the end of them, so Centric had to pretty much revamp the show. BET and Centric get a bad rep because they don't know how to keep a successful showing running. The Game was FINE before it came to BET. Even when Derwin and Mel left, I still watched the show. I only stopped because I hated that they put Jason back with Kelly, dogging Chardonnay out in the process. Same with Single Ladies, it was FINE on VH1. Once Centric got ahold of it, it went downhill. Not to mention they changed locations, which caused a few cast members not to return. Basically, I think the 4th season was just to tie up SL's (since Denise Vasi and DB Woodside did not return).

Denise Vasi Quit. The whole Centric season was about "who killed Raquel"
Obviously, they were just wrapping up loose storylines on Centric's season.

I hope so too. I couldn't even watch it anymore because it got so bad. I miss the original concept of the show. It wasn't as dramatic, just a fun and glamorous show.
