sweet and funny! Must see!

Absolutely. Saw it in a theater in NYC a year ago solo, and just rewatched it on DVD with my wife. (Note: I am 68 and she is 50.) Funny and sweet indeed! And real. We are both longtime high school teachers (I'm retired) and this is one of the best teen movies ever! Its 70-minute running time is a real virtue (so many bloated movies nowadays). Deserves a much higher rating.

As a guy who grew up far away from Hollywood and the upper middcle class. I'm just blue collar kid from Sweden. Most american teen movies are set in upper middle class american suburbia and I just can't relate. What I can relate too is living at a place that seemed to be the farthest you could go from that bright center far away in the center of the galaxy. I can related to being horny all of the time and not getting laid. Since you know, there weren't that many parties in gigant houses were all the school would show up.

Don't get me wrong, American Pie are fun movies, they made me laugh and there were boobs. But I can't connect. Få Meg På, For Faen, nmuch like *beep* Åmål / Show Me Love this really talks to me. This is what growing up in small town Scandinavia is.
