Kathleen Turner sounds like a cross-dressing truck driver and the movie looks like one of those early 90's gay movies that have dated so very well.

Judging by the trailer, it looks a new Gold Standard for poor acting and poorer taste. Isn't there at least one more bad stereotype they could have included in the plot?

I saw it and HATED the main character (Kathleen Turner). She was dishonest, hypocritical, nasty, and mean-spirited. Okay, she changed by the end of the film, but it was too little, too late, IMHO. Wish I could get back the 90 minutes of my life that I lost in watching this.

You were meant to hate the central character. That was the point. You were meant to like her family and be glad she'd at least changed by the end even if you didn't like her.

I enjoyed the film. I just happen to think people like you are stupid and cant appreciate a film legend like Kathleen Turner.
