What is the point of this movie?

It's a drama, pretty tightly around one family. The movie is very simple and plain. I still liked it.

I haven't seen it yet, but one reviewer I read said it's about the "exposure of the fragility that lies at the heart of the supposed perfect lifestyle".

To me, it was about lies and trust, and the ability to forgive and move on.

Best post on this board. Worst-directed and worst-produced film I think I've ever seen.

Hope, joy, pain, suffering...a great an heart-wrenching character study of humanity.

Movies are meant to instill emotion in the viewer, I believe that is the purpose of every movie.
