of course there's someone named Jude...

sounds cheesy and cliche... but I could be judging it too hard... we'll see

The title definitely has a certain camp-factor, but I can't imagine Catherine Keener taking a lead role in a cliched and cheesy film. She has almost impeccable taste in selecting her projects, IMO. Granted she chooses the occasional film that doesn't work for me (What Just Happened, Hamlet 2), but I can't recall a cliched film she's been in.

So, title aside, I'm pretty optimistic about this film.

Seeing as "Hey Jude" was released on August 26, 1968 in the United States, I saw his name as a bit of an acknowledgement to the Beatles.
