The plot is a ruin

So let me get this straight, the military found the girl, but without being constrained or whatever he let the parasite be transferred to him?

Then while the parasite has been transferred to him, let's say he passed out but he's sent on the boat meanwhile.

So the blood tests are negative for both him and angela. Yet to show she's not infected Angela bites him...

So if she was infected the blood would transmit the virus, but she's not hence her tests were negative.

Then why was the soldier test negative too?

reply

The soldier tested negative because he was the host and the doctor said the parasite conceals the host from testing positive.

So what was the point of testing Angela if a negative result wouldn't tell them whether she was a host or not? The test seemed to be pretty useless. The infected were quickly revealed by self-evident means.

Apparently the test was only to see if the survivors were infected--not if they were asymptomatic carriers of the virus. I would imagine that those are totally different tests.

And apparently the authorities did not consider that the demon might've deliberately changed hosts to a better body. (The docs probably went to the same university as the [REC]2 GEOs.)
