As of this writing this film has only screened at it's premiere and at one festival in the USA, so I can understand ratings for it from the United States.
How is it possible though for people outside the USA to have seen it and rated it, much less rated it a "1", when it hasn't been released in their country yet or at very least to any of those illegal torrent sites?
Proof that many people who rate films on IMDb are shills.

Besides, I clearly stated I understood there being ratings, good or bad, in the US as Paranormal Captivity was screened.
Here are the "non US" ratings as of today, 9/30/2014, and I repeat: How could this film have been rated at all in those territories when it won't be released outside the US until January of 2015?
19 Non-US users have given a weighted average vote of 2.9 / 10
People do go on holiday or travel from abroad to festivals etc. It's not exactly rocket science. And it's not a good film anyway. Why are you so interested in the demos? Are you affiliated with the movie?

That's your opinion. I think it's a really good film.
As for the interest in the demos, when I wrote this post the film had only screened once in upstate New York. I seriously doubt that many people from outside New York, much less from outside the US, were there. I wrote it to prove a point that people (you probably fit in this category) like to be haters for the hell of it.
And no, I am not affiliated with the movie. I'm a fan. How much do you get paid to bash movies? (See I can be cliché and write typical stupid things too).
