Never seen it and never will and here is why

I am not reviewing this because I have never seen it but I just want to point something out.

If you give your film a name that is intended to sound like another film that was a hit then people will assume it is a cheap knock off movie. (Paranormal captivity, not Dead collections)

Take a good look at the cover and ask yourself, how many times have you seen that cover. The scary little girl ghost with her arms by her side, long hair all messy and crappy looking. How do you think something so unoriginal will make someone want to watch it ?

That's about it really. I will never see this film because the cover and the title put me off and I know other people who also think like me so I can only assume there are a lot more people like me out there.

Maybe next time try being original and not resorting to copy/pasting a used to death title and cover.

I have asked one of the actors in this film about the name change and he didn't like it for the same reason you stated.

The title Paranormal Captivity was the idea of the distributor and not the film makers. All during production it was marketed with the title Dead Collections and prior to the DVD / Blu-ray release it was reviewed as Dead Collections. The premiere invitations (on the official Facebook page) said Dead Collections.

Apparently, when you sign with a distributor they reserve the right to change the title without the film makers permission.

Whether you like or dislike something, do it with respect and don't be a troll!
