Anyone know the complete story? Like where is all the employees and is our main character in Portal 2 the same as Portal 1?
Any insights to the big picture of the storyline here?

What happened happened and can't happen any other way
GLADoS killed all the employees but one prior to the events of Portal 1. The main character is the same in both games.
More details can be learned by reading the synopses for the games on Wikipedia.
Supermodels...spoiled stupid little stick figures mit poofy lips who sink only about zemselves.
All the employees are dead... note that in each of the test chambers, all the observation rooms are empty. Nothing but empty chairs and desks.
