Okay, I'm still watching the movie currently, so far the only thing that bugs me about this movie is the fact that he doesn't have the well known Guan Yu beard, his beard is slightly long but its not Guan Yu length, then later he virtually shaves it all off.
shareyou do know the guan yu you and i know doesn't necessarily have to be the same as the looks of "the actual" guan yu?
also... he was making his way (escaping) out of cao cao's territory which means he'll have to fight. having a long beard is imposing, but might not come in handy during a fight (remember what bruce lee did to chuck norris' chest hair?).
