Is this in the 1960s? That would explain the fascination with the elevator

Well it has Jon Hamm in it so it could be the 60s..

Shouldn't be, everything equipment wise and the car he drove ( Porsche 911 I believe) says mid 2000s. It could also be a movie they kinda rewrote into this time.

It's based of a player during present time. One of the two Indian players is still with the pirates organization.
