Jon Hamm /JB was such a tool

Such a snake oil salesman , Self centered *beep* just like he is as draper in madmen.

Soon as something maybe a bit better comes along he ditches these kids for the next best thing lol.

This show to me just furthered the stereotype that agents are non essential leaches who will say anything they think you want to hear to leach $ off your talent.

um, I really have to agree. The character he played was thoroughly unlikable, even THOUGH, he was "coming around" and got "better" by the end.... there was something really off putting about his character/actor not the least of which was his constant draper routine... is he to blame for it? Will he forever be don draper? I dont watch MadMen, but I feel as though this guy was a miscast. The way he stood there quietly assessing the scenes as if he was on a madmen set, and his mere presence spoke volumes.... If he was supposed to come off as a serious douchebag he succeeded for sure, because even by the end of the movie I didn't like him at ALL. Everyone else did a superb job though, which is why I "liked" the movie. I mean--- he was supposed to be a douche right? Not sure whether I disliked his role because of illogical reasons, or because he played it so well....confused now. ...

Theyre were running out of money and had been working on the football pla6er long before. And he blew that deal to take this kids home for over eating and drinking too much. After he gave them 110k and a chance to play in America which costing him money and no guarantee of a payback. ... what an A hole.

Jon Hamm is a very good actor. I felt he portrayed JB sports agent perfectly. He is supposed to be a tool.

^^^^^no more calls, we have a winner.

Nice to read a post on this board from someone who 'gets it' and understands the entire movie is about change and growth (both very hard things for anybody in any culture, as the movie showed).

Hamm is very likeable, and reminds me of David Duchovny and Bryan Cranston in that he bounced around for awhile in Hollywood until he got an opportunity. He is a humble guy, and capable of playing different characters; JB is nothing like Draper. Check out Hamm's comedy chops in 'Bridesmaids', or his FBI agent in 'The Town'.
