Yea a movie about Indian cricket would really do well in the summer time

Bc you know every high school kid wants to go see a bunch of curry munchers play cricket. Is there anything more irrelevant than a bunch of cricketers playing a freaking day long match. Well except maybe to Indians but then again with a population of 1.3 billon not ONE could win a gold medal so why not excel at a sport no one cares for. Might make them feel better...what's next badminton?

Brilliant idea Disney...you know stick with the marvel and Star Wars franchises you have LOL

at a sport no one cares for

You've contradicted yourself by mentioning 1.3billion Indians. And then there are the other cricket-loving nations such as Britain, Australia, South Africa, Pakistan, New Zealand, Sri Lanka...........

BTW, ever wondered why films about American sports don't even get released outside North America? That's right - because no-one's interested.

American sports films do get released though. At least here in Europe. Including the ones about baseball and football which aren't popular sports here at all. Well football has a bit of a following. But really in Europe it's all about soccer.

Anyway this movie isn't about Cricket at all. It's about Baseball.

You mean American football and football.
You got them mixed up.

US sports films do get released in Europe and for me and most people I know are entertaining.
Far more entertaining than the real sports.
The consensus is that we can watch films about American sports but can't watch the sports themselves.

US sports will never do well outside of America no matter how hard they try. Too many sports anyway being played and no room for offshoots of those already established sports that are part of some countries national identities.

If it wasn't for the fact the English got there first with their sports you might have had a chance but seeing as how US sports are variations of english sports in the first place it doesn't matter if the Americans had got there first as they wouldn't be paying the same sports anyway

Was "curry munchers" really necessary? Wtf man

Viggeo--What are you babbling about?

Who made a movie about Indian cricket? Why are you commenting about that on this board, which is about Million Dollar Arm--a film about a sports agent trying to find two young Indian men to see if they can be trained to become baseball pitchers, thus earning themselves a fortune, and the agent enough money to keep his business afloat?

From your comment, we can only reason that 1)you never saw the film, 2) you haven't even taken the trouble to read anything about it, and 3) you find joy in complaining about things in which you know nothing about.

Why don't we just shoot 'em down and be through with it?
