WTH? She is not even all that pretty (looks like a man) and had zero chemistry with Jon Hamm.
I would've much preferred Elizabeth Banks or even January Jones for that matter.
Pretty is a matter of opinion (I don't find her attractive, but I know people who do). As for chemistry, I agree completely; she and Hamm had none. Less than none. Whatever number is less than zero, that is what they had.
shareGrow up, this is 'show BUSINESS'! Lake Bell was priced right, much cheaper than the two interchangeable blonde hotties you note (of which there are dozens) and the whole POINT of her character was that she was different from the 'professionally pretty' models JB had in rotation.

Lake Bell looks are up & down. This is comparing her to other hollywood starlets. In real life I'd be all over that. 7 in the face, 9 in the body. Great natural rack! Dont think so? Look up Esquire's "Lake Bell tells a joke"
I don't mind Lake Bell. She looked pretty cute when she came out in the Indian dress for their "date" IMO.
But come on. January Jones? She's a TERRIBLE actress. Wooden. Dull. Bell was much better for this movie.
Personally, I would enjoy bodysurfing on scenic Lake Bell.

She was really annoying, the way she talks and acts like the type of girl you date for 5 min and then dump her immediately after she starts talking but the whole movie was pretty pointless and went nowhere, watched a few minutes of it and thought how could they have thought this was a good idea or anybody would want to see it?
