Brilliant!

Watched this last night and was pretty much owned from start to finish.

Not gonna lie, but i chose to put up with the uncomfortable feeling of a full bladder for pretty much the entire movie because i didn't want to get out of my seat and miss A. SINGLE. MOMENT!

And heyyyyyyy Oliver Ackland! I had to be a closet Outriders fan during its original run because, come on, what self-respecting 18 year old watches a show about kids on horses going on adventures? ahaha but its good to still see him around!

I don't know if an official release date has been set. Probably sometime in 2011. Hopefully it will get a theatrical release, even if its just here in Aus. It's a really fantastic film and well deserving of exposure.

Ye saw it tonite at dublin film festival. reviewing it. really *beep* good.
Though id hate it with all those rich idiots floating about but it was a story well told. The protagonist was great.
well made stuff all round. very modern.
The acting was spot on too.
Great music too.

The concept, acting, cinematography, and general theme were great; the execution is another matter. The message gets lost in a convoluted script, lose editing, and poor direction. This movie could have been solid, unfortunately it's just another good idea gone bad.

Agreed.

There were too many WTF moments, that marred it for me.

This movie was incredible!
I'm Australian but I usually HATE Australian made things. But when I watched this last night I was so happy that I didn't turn it ay purely based on my previous experiences.
It wasn't what I was expecting but the message, although taken to extreams, really pushed the truth of bullying and how it affects everyone involved. I though it was brilliantly filmed and cast! The cast were all attractive but not in a way that distracted from the plot of made the violence and emotions seem fake. I really think that the acting is what made the movie. Although many people are bringing up loop holes etc it was saved by the fact that the main characters could actually act especially Xandrie and Darren.
All in all I think this was a great movie, not just for an Australian movie, but on the world stage. The director, fillers and acting people should be very proud and I look forward to seeing these actors in more movies.
Well done!

Did you see The Square?
I thought that was an excellent Aussie film.
