Why didn't he just give the rapefilm to the cops, told xandria about, showed it the school or something instead of letting Xandria kill herself?

I agree. He never did anything with it. There didn't seem to be any adults anywhere. The parents were explained away but where were the teachers while the big chase and fight were happening?!

Right, he tells her, "I have something from that night" and the matter is just dropped because such an idiotic statement is like dividing by 0. This is when you know the screenplay is just wasting your time
