Disingenuous reviews + deceptive IMDB user practices

the_kcd & woogielee, users who wrote the only 2 positive reviews of the film, are obviously involved with the film. woogielee creates an account on Feb 27, writes a review of this film on Feb 27, and then he disappears? the_kcd's review doesn't even try to sound objective. Why were you guys invited to private screenings?

You two should have your accounts & IP's banned.

This is getting old. Almost every indie movie thread there is some simpleton who dislikes a film so she/he makes a thread like this claiming all the reviews are fake.

Even on the forums people are generally liking this film so get over yourself, people have different tastes and opinions.

See I believe people who make threads like these and whose sole purpose is to cause trouble should have their accounts taken and IP banned. See how we have differing opinions?

Thank you! I'm glad someone said it.

The sole purpose of my thread was to raise awareness of movie "hype" on IMDB. I know, as you know, that nobody's IP address will be banned. Having said that, shady account behaviour is fairly easy to monitor. If someone creates an account the day that a movie is released, creates a one-sided, praising review of the film, and then disappears forever, does that seem normal to you? Did you even investigate what I posted before starting your rant?

I didn't think so.

I can only assume that you must use Netflix, and that your
movie suggestions are like mine, because I constantly see your
posts in every netflix movie I watch, and come here to check
out the chats....

Do you do anything in addition to reviewing reviews? Could I review your reviews of reviews? We could start up a pyramid reviewing scheme. We could BAN THE ENTIRE WORLD FROM EVER SPEAKING AGAIN! MAYBE we could even start to get films banned from ever being made!!! No--wait. Then we'd have no reviews to review... Hmm. Such a quandary.
