What was up with his accent in Wrath of the Titans? He was speaking with a whole difference accent than Clash of the Titans...

Sam Worthington, whether You like him or not, is a pretty average actor. He uses what could be described as an American accent in most of his films, but it's not very polished. I always find you can tell an Actor's not confident in the accent-throwing-abilities if they deliver their lines in a breathy/whispery tone,- it's hard to distinguish their native accent that way. Sam does a lot of that. However, in this film he doesn't even attempt to do any other accent other than his native one, at all, .. it may be that the director just simply told him not to because it wasn't convincing, or rather was honest and told him it was just plain bad. Lol.
