One movie I saw the guy disconnected the airbags in his truck, then slammed on the brakes so the car following air-bagged the pursuers. They could have just driven Ace Ventura style.

I'm surprised that the BMW company allowed that car to appear in the film, because it gets so damaged in the chase. Maybe the filmmakers just did it without BMW's approval.

With the pristine image claimed by BMW, the loss of i parts in all the collisions doesn't speak well for implied driver survivability.
