could have been SO much better

Without getting into details, because it would just give me a headache, I believe that this film could have been an 8, or even a 9, if it had been told differently (especially in the beginning; it was confusing, and not at all entertaining). Fortunately, I stuck around, and only in the end did I find the satisfaction that I had hoped to find in the film. A missed opportunity, unfortunately, but not a complete loss. :-)

I thought it was a great film but I agree the first 30 mins or so were dragging on a bit. I also thought it tried too hard to include too many topics. Still, I thoroughly enjoyed it - funny, entertaining and intelligent.

There's hardly any film that one feels could not have been improved in some shape or form. But I didn't see this a missed opportunity in the sense that it could have been a masterpiece of epic proportions had it not somehow lost its way.

Ah, but don't you see? That was Carla's mission ...

Would she have not gone on holiday to Italy and done Silvio !
