The American Version sucked. I wonder if this one has the same ending?

The two have very common themes so the ending will not be a surprise and much of the suspense and horror is lost having seen the remake. But the ending is a little different.
It depends on what you mean by "ending". If you mean, "Does it turn out that there was nobody after her the whole time and she was taking revenge on her abusers?", then yes, the endings are the same.
However, the suggestions and allusions are slightly different in their content and their subtlety.
I don't know what these guys are thinking about, but yes, they both have the
same ending, in both movies she is the killer, but does not realize it.
In both movies we find out that she was abused sexually by her father and
the other guy in the movie, and she has gone crazy and kills because of this
fact. some of the plot is different, but the basic most important part is
the same.
