Spoiler Alert regarding the Father and the final 1/2 Hour

So, I am watching this show last night on FOX and get very confused in the final 1/2 hour. Again, the following questions might ruin the film for those whom have not yet seen it, so no need for you to read any further.

As I understand it, the Father is killed by Toothless and then there is the burial at sea scene.

Yet, it seems that in the final 1/2 Hour of the show, the Father has appeared again and all seems happy.

I am convinced that the guy who threaded the reels at FOX for the TV show, got reel 2 mixed up with reel 3 and showed the middle reel as the last reel with the Father still alive.

What did I miss?

I didn't think they threaded reels anymore, I thought it was all digital? Anyway, yes, you are right, this isn't a zombie movie. Once down, the father stays that way. After Toothless kills him, Drago mounts Toothless and takes all the dragons with him. They're all under his spell. Hiccup and the gang head back to the ice caves to collect the baby dragons because the babies don't listen to anyone, so they are not under Drago and his alpha's spell. A big battle ensues and Toothless is freed from the spell and more heroic things happen involving Toothless and Hiccup before the end. Does any of that sound familiar?

I noticed that too. I think that Christmas bonus was just an extra that was supposed to take place before the movie?

Saw it on Demand so I didn't see anything like that sorry.

PS: That death scene shocked the hell out of me for a kids movie.
