Bunny Hate

The folks who made this movie must really hate rabbits with a passion. The amount of abuse the long-eared critters take throughout the film borders on psychopathic. I know it's "just a silly cartoon" but, abuse of an animal, even a fictional cartoon animal is never funny in my opinion and even worse it teaches young kids, children not yet old enough to tell the difference between reality and fantasy, that its okay to drag bunnies by their ears, fling them around and throw them against windows and trees, etc! Anyway, the creators of this movie must have a horrible grudge against rabbits and I wonder why?

I just saw the movie and I completely agree with you, I wondered why they hated bunnies so much...definitely not a good example for kids...same as the circus theme...animals are NOT happy at circuses...

That's rubbish. Tom and Jerry has been watched by kids for decades and hasn't led to the mass abuse of cats. People should think before they post.

Yeah, that's what I thought also. Watching this with my grandson. Not good for the kids.

I thought the bunny fights were funny but odd yes. If you really wanna get technical though, what does this movie teach kids about leaving pets home alone? Leave them with a giant fish, bones and all, and no animal will choke or fight over food?
