5.6 million viewers.

At least it did much better than Harriet the Spy. Does anyone remember what Starstruck got? I think this had less but given that this was barely promoted, I think it was to be expected.

Edit: I just checked. It looks like Starstruck got 6 million viewers. Hopefully they have more success with Camp Rock 2. I doubt Den Brother will get many viewers.

I'm glad that it did better than Harriet because it was better than Harriet! I'm thinking Starstruck got around 8 or 9 million, but then again we have to look at the promotion of Starstruck vs. 16 Wishes:

-Starstruck was promoted months in advance while 16 Wishes was only promoted a month or two ahead.
-Starstruck had many Disney Channel stars and they promoted that while 16 Wishes only had Debby.
-Starstruck had those behind-the-scene featurettes with introductions to characters and actors while 16 Wishes didn't. I'm sure that if 16 Wishes introduced Jean-Luc, the girls would have gone craazzzy.
-Both had music videos, but I think Sterling's was promoted more than Debby's.

Whatever though, right? Technically, 16 Wishes wasn't a DCOM because it was made by a Canadian film studio I think. Oh well, still a great DCOM. Much MUCH better than Starstruck!

Actually I looked it up and it was 6 million. So it really didn't do that much better than this. I agree though that it was promoted much more than this. I've seen more Camp Rock 2 promos than 16 Wishes promos and CR2 doesn't even air until September.

That explains why it's the best DCOM I've seen in a while. LOL.

So that's why Harriet and 16 Wishes were both advertised as "Disney Channel World Premiere Movies" and not DCOMs. Anyways, Harriet was actually pretty good, but the mood and lighting made it feel kinda boring. And 16 Wishes was surprisingly not bad, MUCH better than Star Stuck.

As for Den Brother, don't get it. And Camp Rock 2? Uh...by then I'd have homework, which I'd rather do than watch the movie.

Avalon High actually sounds really interesting. Apparently, there's going to be battle scenes in it. I hope it's gonna be something like Narnia, but cheaper of course. Hopefully they won't ruin it and make it a fantasy comedy like Twitches or something, not that Twitches was bad. Disney Channel just needs a DCOM that is an epic fantasy film.
