I didn't know straightening your hair made you look older.

In Debby's case it does. I think it's her face that looks different when she's wearing her hair straight. She just looks more mature. Her hair is naturally curly, though. They often straighten it for SLOD.

If Dylan Sprouse gets any hotter, he will burn my retinas from looking directly at him.

I completely agree. I also think her bangs make her face look younger, especially with her round face. I was surprised by how straightening her hair and giving her side bangs made such a big difference. She also looked a bit like Leah Pipes too.

Very true. My hair is naturally curly and people say i look like younger than I am but when I straighten my hair people think im older.

It's not that people won't recognize her.

When she makes the wish, she's not 16 anymore. I believe they said she was 23? Since she's 'older', they changed up her hairstyle. I mean, when you're in your twenties, I don't think you're going to have the same exact hairstyle as you did when you were 16.

I hope that made sense.

Plus, as others said, it really did help to make her look a bit older.

She was 21 and it wasn't only the hair but the clothes as well as makeup and white strips...
