The ending

The ending was sort of abrupt and really left you guessing what was going to happen. I got the impression that Clemente discovered feelings for Sofia, which explains why he bought perfume for her. It appeared at the end that he went into the procession crowd looking for her? Would he find her? What would he say if he did? Did Sofia make this happen by praying for a miracle? Is she arguably the main character/hero and not Clemente?

I love a film that makes you think, and this one sure did.
