I was fascinated by this, so with the help of the science boffins at HKU I created an electronic sound device that registers the bees' methods of communication and via some algorithms can send them in audible state direct to a human ear.
Our subject, a queen in her prime and in a replica environment (along with drones and workers), was attached to the necessary receptors and the device was switched on to begin monitoring the bee's commands.
I put on my headphones and truly heard with my own ears what the bees are teling us:
"Bzzzzzzz"
