Do all of you private school kids back pack around europe after graduati

Is this a preppy thing? Is this what the privaleged do? Doesn't anybody try to get a summer job to save up for college or after? Granted I didn't grow up poor but I still wanted to work just to earn my own money etc..Look if you've earned your own money doing it that's fine but I wonder where do some of these kids get the money?
