Bitch main character

The main character was such a pussy. A very hot emma roberts asked him to sleep with her and he bailed, what the *beep*. The movie should have been over when she asked him "would you have sex with me?". He tweaked out and she hooked up with another dude I'm just saying that the main character was a *beep* pussy. at least emma roberts is hot though.

They had been hanging out for a while, she was clearly lonely. It was valentines day and she simply asked if he had ever thought about her sexually and then propositioned him to have sex. I think if he would have said yes, they would have boned after dinner. He just bitched out, watch the scene again.

You can see in his face, he's kind of taking it in, not believing, then wondering if it might be real, then looking really happy for a split second, which is just when she says that it was a joke (or however she puts it). I think he was just about to say yes, or address the offer in some positive way, when she chickens out, because she feels awkward at having stuck her neck out that way, and doesn't want to suffer rejection of her offer, or him freaking out about it in a bad way. The dialog preceding her request sets this all up. She's feeling him out, asking if he's had sex, and one or two other questions, because she wants to make this proposition, but is unsure of how he'll respond--she feels vulnerable. Because of his own complexes and sense of self, he assumes she's playing with him, even making fun of him; the idea that she wants him is one he can't even begin to believe. When she asks him if he's had sex before, he says, "Why are you asking me this? You know I haven't," which she did not really know, though probably was not surprised to hear. She takes the risk of asking him to sleep with her, despite trepidation over possible rejection, and probably concern for his feelings; she knows it's an awkward thing to ask, and one that might really screw up their delicately balanced friendship. The truth is, they're both feeling very vulnerable, and kind of not good enough for the other. Probably, if he'd been able to process her request just a little faster, the scene would have ended much differently.

Haven't you ever had a moment like that (not necessarily to do with sex), where you've said or done something, and then (because of fear or unease, especially if the response appears to be negative) taken it back, as kidding, or not serious, or whatever?

I definitely agree with you. Sally meant it but acted like it was a joke so she could take it back (and avoid opening up), and George took her seriously until he realised she was joking. That's why he got so mad afterwards and walked off, because he realised that this entire time she was just playing with him, and she had no intention of letting things get serious.

You heart me? What is that? Is that like I love you for pussies?

He was a sensitive, shy young man. Inexperienced too. I really can't imagine many people with those traits and such a lack of experience sexually reacting confidently to her proposal. He reacted in a way that probably fits his character. He had a lack of experience with people in general, what with having no friends and not really having great relationships at home, so when confronted with the possibility of losing his virginity to what seems like the first girl he has ever liked, then it's no wonder he was apprehensive!

I think she handled the situation poorly but, as her mother had said earlier, she had never really been with a guy who was like George. She didn't really know how to approach the situation or him about it. She cocked up, for sure. I can understand why he was hurt and humiliated. He may have been mopey and whatnot, but she wasn't particularly nice to him.
