Found it disappointing

Just because someone isn't 'into' what the rest of the world/schoolmates value, doesn't give them the permission to be so disrespectful to teachers and other students.

If he didn't give a damn about school, he shouldn't have wasted the teachers' time.

All those teachers had to do extra work, to give him all those chances, especially all those assignments due, when right before the moment he graduates? Those teachers DID their jobs, then had more added at the last second, just for him?

I just hope someday he expresses appreciation to them, which he won't.

I think we were supposed to admire his independence, but he didn't care about anybody but himself.
