That Kid Was an Idiot

I thought the movie was pretty decent up until this scene. When he started hemming and hawwing about getting the keys, I was like "wtf, if you are so scared to get the keys because you think he might wake up, then effin kill him!" I was so aggravated at the stupidity of this scene that I was just irritated through the rest of the movie.

Wow, I stopped just after he kept returning to the hole to repeat to her that he would be back. He had his back exposed and she wouldn't pipe down. There were several instances where they were both guilty of talking when they needed to be quiet.

It started going down hill for me (as mentioned on here) that he had an opportunity to kill his captor. He let the guy terrorize her while he watched like a coward. Finally when he gets the drop on the guy, he gives him only a couple of whacks. Meanwhile he is girlfriend is screaming at him to kill the guy. Come on, I wouldn't have stopped until his skull was caved in!

Terrible things Lawrence. You've done terrible things.

He seemed to have hit him with the metal pole pretty hard in the head and face. Yet there seemed to be no damage done at all in later scenes. Just the fork marks.

Didn't the 'border guard' call someone to come over? Why didn't that guy come around?

How did the regular people on the train think that this bleeding, homeless looking dude was a police officer or railway official?

When he locked up Armin up and locked the door with a fork, I was already "Seriously?".
First he throws down some lockers to distract Armin, then he couldn't think of shoving one against the door?

And then right after getting the keys escaping through the door he could have locked the door from the outside and be 'save'.
