The descent 1 and 2 (Both cool as *beep* Creep (weird but good) The cave (naff) Sanctum (pretty cool) Congo (ok I suppose) The ruins (pretty good) Stag night (would have been good had the camera man have been able to hold the camera still for 2 minutes) There's loads more but these are the first bunch that spring to my mind :0)

"Hasta la vista, baby."

You could check out "Catacombs". It's set in underground tunnels in France. Personally, I thought it was pretty mediocre, but everybody has a different opinion.

Life is like a movie. Only you can't pick your genre.

Champagne for my real friends, and real pain for my sham friends.

Although the plotlines are nothing alike, the vibe throughout the whole movie reminded me a lot of Wolf Creek.

I kept thinking of "Chernobyl Diaries" while watching this.

I'm hoping someone can remember for me, but a friend loaned me a DVD a few years back in this vein. It's set somewhere in Europe (maybe Germany again?) And there is a heist where the thief's are escaping underground and start getting picked off by a crazy person.

Yeah, they have a similar premise -- young, naive kids in a foreign city meet up with a local "extreme tourism" guide who takes them to a dangerous historical place that's supposed to be off-limits.

Chernobyl Diaries had more promise in the beginning because of the awesome job they did recreating the town of Pripyat and the radiation zone. The abandoned homes, the rusting ferris wheel, all that stuff was freaky, and the guy playing the Russian tour guide was great. I won't spoil it any further except to say it sadly wasn't as good as it could have been.

And co-signed on the Descent. It becomes terrifying even before it gets to the parts that are supposed to be scary. Maybe some people aren't bothered by small spaces, but damn, I can't think of another movie that does claustrophobia so well.
