Why such a low score? :( Possible Spoilers)

I found the film to be riveting as well as frightening (without gore). Agoraphobia is such a horrible condition & you actually watch Tommy plummet into a hell inside of his head while living in an actual hell zonel-trying to raise a baby, trying to mourn, etc. I realize everyone has their own opinion, but I did find this movie intense, with more backbone than others lumped into the genre. Thanks.

agreed, great film. then again, the best films rarely get the praise they deserve.

I agree with you also. I thought this film was outstanding. I was really actually a bit scared while watching this. There haven't been many movies made that ever scared me and I go all the way back to Rosemary's Baby and The Exorcist. I think there is something creepy about young children being killers. It just seems so unexpected. I also loved the way this film had a feeling of isolation at all times. Everything was so lonely and desolate throughout the entire film. I was not quite sure if this was all in his head or actually happening until late in the movie. That ambiguity really held my sense of suspense. Very well done!
