I wanted to like this film but it was so boring the fights were plain and I think dolph londgrenisto old for this now he looks like a stiff old oak tree trying to fight but that's just me what did you guys like or don't like about this?
shareI personally enjoyed the movie was a nice throwback to action movies of the 80s/90s. For a limited release had some good action sequences the tony jaa and dolph fight and the tonj jaa Michael jai white fight were both decent. The story was alrite to focusing on the subject of sex trafficking, tony jaa got to show a emotional side, and speak some English which is good. Bad points cant really think of many considering its budget probably under 10 million, have to give it some leverage, the acting in places was a bit mediocre of some of the supporting cast, the open ended ending was a bit meh (obvious leaving for a sequel) would have been better to tie it all up with dolph finding his daughter.
shareThe open ending was meant for a sequel but to leave the audience with a stronger dramatic tone otherwise there would be no point to the movie if all ended like in a fairy tale. Best dramas end with non-happy or bittersweet endings.

If this was disappointing to you drdoom19844 that is fine but at least it made many people that saw this think for a second about the world and how many children are treated poorly in it. Not every child gets saved in this world from all that is horrible out there. So many are abused. We need governments to be tougher on people who abuse children. We need to deal out real justice. I am thankful that this movie was made no matter how bad you thought Dolph was in this.
shareI liked it but the first portion of the movie was too slow and some fights could've been better. Still, I enjoyed it and hopefully will get a sequel soon.
