Brooke driving a right hand drive SUV

Since she is in British Columbia why does the SUV Brooke is driving have right hand drive (steering wheel is on the right side of the car). While this kind of car is normal in England, they are very rare in the United States and Canada.

Noticed that as well. It was a Japanese vehicle I think...they do have right hand drive vehicles.

Could it have been filmed in Europe as some SyFy original movies are? Or do they have right hand drive in Hell where I am convinced the ideas for these movies originate?

reply

It says in IMDB that it was filmed in Canada. The only region in Europe that has right hand drive is Great Britain but they wouldn't save much money filming a movie there vs. a place like Canada.

It is not true that there is only right-hand drive in Great Britain. Right-hand drive vehicles operate in the Republic of Ireland, too (which is NOT part of Great Britain).

Furthermore, on a side note, Sweden had right hand drive until the end of the 1960's.

In Hungary they also drive on the wrong side of the road.

It's a Toyota, looks to be a Land Cruiser which can be found in right hand drive in North America. I thought maybe the film was flipped but from the front view you can make her out in the right seat while the license plate reads normally. Looks to be a Washington state plate, BTW.

Two possibilities: first, it is an old used postal vehicle. The right side position of the driver enables them to reach the roadside rural post boxes. There are a few still rambling around the U.S. and are collectors items. Second, is it possible (to use an old term) that the editors "flipped the negative" imageorir continuity ... or so it appears that she is driving in the correct direction ... just a thought.
