The BEST Animated Show Ever - SPOILERS included

Just finished watching all of the episodes on Netflix (binge-watched in a week).

Holy Moly, is this show great!

I love so many things about it (there's only one thing I don't like about it: the "sassy" talk of the black, female characters. Bumblebee is a scientist, for goodness sake - must she end all her sentences with "girl"?

- the depth and uniqueness of the characters; they are multi-dimensional and make mistakes/"bad" choices that result in consequences that haunt them later on

- their relationships are complicated at times like real-life

- the continuity of the narrative and the clever plot twists

- the inclusion of Justice League members (always love seeing Black Canary, Black Lightning, Red Tornado, and others who were not part of the Superfriends in animated form)

- the fact that the series jumped years between its two seasons

- the action scenes are incredibly well-choreographed and entertaining

- the strength of the female characters (Zatanna's key role in one of the series last episode's is terrific; Miss Martian is actually more powerful than her uncle)

I am delighted that the show will have a third season. It won't be for a while, but it's good to know that the fan base was strong enough to warrant a revival.

I agree with the compliments besides the first one. The "sassy black girl" talk sounds pretty bad and corny. I don't know what Rocket's background is, but Bumblebee is obviously a scientist, so she should probably sound nerdy/smart like the other two scientists Atom and Strange. She shouldn't sound like she's in a Worldstar video.

I like this show a lot, but I don't think it's the best cartoon. JL/JLU is better, Airbender is WAY better - Korra is about even with Young Justice, and there are a few other ones that are better to me. Young Justice is up there though.

I never saved anything for the swim back.

JLU was my favorite animated until I checked this one out. You're right: it's awesome.

By the way, I didn't compliment the "sassy, black girl" if you reread my comment. I actually said that was my only complaint about the show.

Its a tie between Young Justice, Justice League and Batman: The Brave & The Bold as the best American superhero cartoon.

All three series each draw on different eras of comics.

I LOVE this show but I would say Young Justice is the 2nd best animated series. The crown goes to Avatar: The Last Airbender. That show was a masterpiece!
